At any rate, I'm not dead. I know it's been a bit silent from the Arizona camp, but I've been a bit busy. Creative Writing drabbles are forthcoming along with a piece that Megs knows about written from a cat's pov.

So, I've been taking my stuff in to Dan, the Creative Writing instructor, and after reading a not-explicitly-stated Witch Hunter Robin fanfiction I'd written, the man gave me the coolest compliment I've had in a while. He said that I write like a graphic novel: small, intense, visual moments that make up a larger story. He actually said that I should consider getting an artist and writing a graphic novel. I honestly didn't know what to say to that.

He also said that my writing was very sparse......That comment came back to bite him with the Cat piece.

Anyway, I'll probably upload the Cat piece soon, and then upload the rewrite when I finish it. Next post will probably be the one that sparked the graphic novel comment.

Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Saya/Solomon)
It’s a bit stalkerish for me. That and Solomon creeps me the hell out. Oh, and because an insane crush does not trump over a hundred years of devotion. FTW fic writers, FTW.

Who is someone you know that ships #14? (Allen/Lenalee)
Not personally no, but there seem to be a lot of fic writers that do. Well, the ones that aren’t die-hard slashers anyway.

What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Buffy/Giles)
Honestly, Buffy pulling her head out of her ass and realizing exactly who’s been there throughout everything. Truthfully, I could have died a very, very happy woman if the series would have ended in Season Six: that hug nearly made my life.

Which is your favorite moment for couple #1? (Wash/Zoe)
Oh, Sweet Lord. There are so many. I love the sweet kiss by the bonfire. I love the jig kiss. I love the ‘Here lies’ poem moment. But I have to say, my absolute favorite moment for these two was the saddest one: when Zoe completely breaks in Serenity. The fact that the one who was so stoic could completely crumble like that just tells how much those two meant to each other.

How long have you been following couple #6? (Cher/Hubb)
Since the beginning of the show. I know that they were divorced, but damnit, you could see that they still cared for each other. I wanted them to have a happy ending. And the way Hubb clings to the scarf in the end is just….Sorry, something in my eye….

What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Alucard/Seras)
Honestly? The manga. Pip is much better with Seras, especially in the end. As for Alucard, I honestly don’t think he goes well with anyone. I think he’s utterly devoted to Integra, and some of the things he says to her make me go ‘Hm’, but I think he’d keep his distance from relationships because he knows that they, like humans, are transitory in nature and would deny himself the comfort and pleasure of one.

Um. Shit. Gonna have to go with Gil/Sara here. I think that the show’s quality seriously dropped once they introduced the soap opera/shipping element. I liked that it was about the cases and that ships, if there were any, were only hinted out……Then I got G/S crammed down my throat. Needless to say, I no longer watch….But THANK YOU Quenton Tarantino for remembering what the show was about.

Which ship do you prefer #2 or #4? (Cain/Riff & Amon/Robin)
Gonna have to go with A/R on this one. They’re both utterly depressing and only implied, but Amon and Robin are just….Never has the sentiment “I’ll kill you” been so utterly sweet.

What interests you about #15? (Vincent/Lucrezia)
Honestly, because I like my ships with angst. That and Vincent is my favorite of the FFVII characters, so I’m naturally curious about anything having to do with him.

Why did you stop liking #7? (Harry/Hermione)
I haven’t really stopped liking it…I just prefer my alternate pairings with them…Though Harry’s the school whore for me, so I ship him with a lot of people.

Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? (Delenn/Lennier)
No. Not really. I still love B5, it’s just that it was far too one-sided, and I discovered Lennier/Vir, so everyone ended up happy.

What’s a song that reminds you of #5? (Duke/Isabella)
Truthfully, I don’t know. This is the newest of my ships. And if I’m honest, I’d have gone back in time and slapped Shakespeare if he’d had her say yes to the Duke’s proposal. But probably My Selene by Sonata Arctica.

If you could have any of these two pairings double-date, who would it be?
Probably Wash/Zoe and Cher/Hubb. I think that being around a couple as desperately in love as Wash and Zoe would remind Cher and Hubb of what they used to have (and still have, damnit) which might in turn give them a happier ending.

Have #2 kissed yet? (Cain/Riff)
No, sadly. But I don’t think Kaori Yuki COULD have ended it any other way.

Did #4 have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely? (Amon/Robin)
Uh, I think their ending was MUCH happier than it could have been. I think that the ultimate squee moment for me with this pairing was when Amon, cold, military Amon said “God doesn’t abandon any of his creatures.” That was pretty much when I decided that, if fate weren’t a bitch, the witch and the witch-hunter could have been VERY happy. Lolita complex and all.

What would make you start shipping #14? (Allen/Lenalee)
I really don’t know. I like them, I can see where it comes from, I’m just not curious enough to go ZOMGMoarFic!

If only one could happen, which would you prefer, #2 or #6? (Cain/Riff or Cher/Hubb)
……Damnit……Well, Cain/Riff had a happier ending, so I’m gonna go with Cher/Hubb here.

Um. It would NEVER exist. They’d realize they fight too much and are more Brother/Sister and would deal with that.

Grissom/Sara. Just…Grissom/Sara. It makes NO logical sense and turned the show into a soap opera.

Which of these ships do you love the most?
If I’m honest, at the moment, Amon and Robin. Angst-potential Squee-age. That and I think that they had the most character development of all of my ships. For him to willingly sacrifice his career and nearly his life for a girl who embodies everything he’s been trained to hate and kill, and then for her to trust him so much that she simply closes her eyes when he has a gun trained on her….Gah! For someone who believes that the only TRUE necessity in a relationship is trust, they’re crack. And the fact that he realizes that she would hate herself if she ever lost control…..Like I said “I’ll kill you” has never been so sweet.
