I'm totally going back in time to kick Murphy's ass

Ok, so, a couple of posts ago, I mentioned (read: whined) that my computer had refused to boot at all. I dropped by Data Doctors today to see what was up with my dysfunctional baby and the news was of the horrifically not good kind. The power supply is kaput. That much I expected. But when the power supply committed seppuku, it dragged the Motherboard along with it.  Well. Fuck. The power supply is a pretty cheap part to pick up. A motherboard on the other hand. And considering Best Buy has a comparable computer for $500.... Yeah. Now all they need to do is tell me that they can't recover anything on the harddrive.....
